The Nash 870 was a series of eight-cylinder cars made by the Nash Motors Company in Kenosha. It was only produced in the 1931 model year, the following year the 870 was renamed the Nash 970. The 870 had a chassis that was 2,953 mm long. The cars were fitted with an eight-cylinder in-line engine with a displacement of 3,723cc (bore x stroke = 73 mm x 111.1 mm) which had a power output of 78 bhp (57.4 kW) at 3.300rpm. A single-plate dry clutch was mated to a 3-speed transmission with floor shift. Not your everyday cruiser, truely a one of a kind vehicle.
